Why I Built This
Starting out with sim racing was exciting. I bought my first wheel and pedals and waited in excitement.

After i unpacked the gear, assembled it and connected it to my pc i was hooked. The first laps felt amazing and it was so much fun.
But soon after the first wave of excitement faded i was not 100% happy with the setup.

I was bothered by my rolling chair and my pedals were sliding back and forth. So after the first quick fix using a weight plate and a uncomfortable kitchen chair i could drive but i knew i needed a better solution.

After searching for a while and not finding something that gave the stability and immersion i wanted in my restricted room, i kind of gave up and decided to design it myself.

The existing solutions didnt work for me. Either they forced me to mount my wheelbase to a shaky steelplate instead of my desk. This increased the distance to my monitor and also had an unrealistic upright seating position. Or they had a good racing position but way to low to the ground to properly use my Monitor from my Office Desk.

After alot of prototyping and figuring out ways to make this compatible for alot of people, here we are. A solution do upgrade your own desk setup. And make it as immersive, real and consistent as possible.
